Before we go any further, there are a few "words" I need to add. I put quotation marks around "words" because the following letters would be words if they were translated into English, but in Hebrew they letters ATTACHED to a word.
If the letter Hey ה is ATTACHED to the front of a Hebrew word it means = The
ה occurs tens of thousands + times.
If the letter Vav ו is ATTACHED to the front of a Hebrew word it means = And
ו occurs tens of thousands + times.
If the letter Beyt ב is ATTACHED to the front of a Hebrew word it means = in, at, by, with.
If the letter Kaf כ is ATTACHED to the front of a Hebrew word it means = As, like, according to
If the letter Lamed ל is ATTACHED to the front of a Hebrew word it means = to, at, for, towards
If the letter Mem מ is ATTACHED to the front of a Hebrew word it means = from, out of
Another important word is את et is a pointer to the definite direct object
et is not translated in English, but it occurs over 7,300 times in the Tanach.
For example in the first verse of the Bible, it says "God created".
What did He create? את השמים ואת הארץ
The red letters are our "Hey ה = The" and our "Vav ו = And".
The blue "ET" points to the definite direct objects ""HaShamayim = the Heaven" "HaArets = the Earth"
